Why should you read Books?

There is a proverb “A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetst

one, if it is to keep its edge"

You will never feel alone if you have a habit of reading.  No doubt reading is good habit but what you are reading is more important. Why should someone read the books?

If you are a good reader you will never feel alone as I said in my opening paragraph but it is more than that, Books are the treasure of the information, knowledge.  Knowledge is the power and power bring confidence, confidence boosts your absorption and observation skills, once you have capability to absorb, definitely it will improve your power to understand and analyze the things.

Thus reading is just like a booster which you need to reduce your tiredness, stress etc.  Make a habit of reading if you are not a good reader, it is never late to start.

I am giving some reference of books which you can read to start.

If you are not a good reader of the books ,you may start with this book which Explains not just why we should read books, but how we should read them. It's masterfully done.
